Carnival Week itself kicks off on Saturday 31 May when you are invited to don your Hawaiian shirts and Bermuda shorts – the louder and more bad taste the better! – get out your grass skirts and lei, grab your surfboards and coconuts and head right on down to the Surf Cafe in Koca Çaliş to enjoy a relaxing Surfing Sounds Beach BBQ and disco.
The Surf Cafe, home of the Fethiye Surf School, will be hosting the laid back fun event which will comprise a delicious BBQ meal and dancing along the waters edge to the cool sounds of the Beach Boys, Jan and Dean and other popular surfing names.
To help people to get to the event and back, the owners of the Surf Cafe will be running a free shuttle bus service every half hour, starting at 7.00 pm, between the metal bridge next to the water taxi office in Çaliş and the Surf Cafe.
